L.F.A.M.I
Weppa Farm will be the home of the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Management Institute (L.F.A.M.I). Large commercial farms will have a pivotal role in the transformation of the agricultural sector within Edo State and Nigeria. However, for such farms to be run effectively there must be a ready supply of dynamic, confident and capable farm managers, with appropriate practical experience.
The aim of the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Management Institute is therefore to fast-track the development of young agricultural specialists to become the commercial farm managers of tomorrow.
Construction of the institute's facilities has begun and partnerships with Universities and other NGO's regarding the development of the course content and structure are underway. Once operational, it is hoped that the graduating students will make a significant contribution to the development of the commercial farm sector in Edo State and elsewhere in Nigeria.
