POULTRY AT WEPPA FARM
Poultry operations consist of both egg and broiler production.
Currently, approximately 30,000 eggs are produced weekly.
Broiler birds are available for sale throughout the year.
Turkey's are also raised, with production targeted for the major festivals.
Feeds are being developed using materials produced on the farm.

CATTLE
CATTLE AT WEPPA FARM
The current Weppa Farm herd consists of 136 cattle. The cattle primarily graze amongst the immature oil palm. As the oil palm plantation increases in size more grazing will become available. The plan is to double the size of the herd, through internal breeding and selective external acquisition.

FISH AT WEPPA FARM
Catfish are reared both in concrete ponds, plastic tanks and earthen ponds. The fish are sold both fresh and dried. Fingerlings are now being produced from our own hatchery.

PIGS
PIGS AT WEPPA FARM
The first pigs were introduced in March 2018 and the piggery now contains over 1,000 pigs. Much of the feed is formulated internally using materials grown on the farm, or as by products from other activities.

GRASSCUTTERS
GRASSCUTTERS AT WEPPA FARM
Grasscutter farming was considered viable because of the ready availability of suitable feeding materials on the farm, many of which are otherwise waste products. The grasscutter house was estsblished in July 2018 and was further expanded in 2020. By the end of 2021 the number of grasscutters should exceed 500.
