A.P.L.O.R.I FIELD CENTRE
The A.P. Leventis Ornithological Research Institute (APLORI), Jos, Nigeria is the only field station dedicated to ornithological research and conservation training in West Africa. The Institute is an autonomous field station of the University of Jos.
The conserved woodland and diversity of the environment of Weppa Farm makes it an ideal location for APLORI to maintain a field centre, where students of the institute can conduct a wide range of research projects.
Construction of the field centre began in September 2018.
